The Sustainable Studies Goals Review (SDGs Studies Review) is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and applied research on institutional practices that contribute to sustainable development. The journal is proudly supported by Florida Christian University (USA), reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence, ethical research, and global collaboration in advancing studies on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal explores how institutions — public, private, or nonprofit — develop and implement strategies related to organizational sustainability, environmental management, and institutional resilience, while addressing the political, economic, social, and territorial challenges of the contemporary world.
Particular emphasis is placed on analyses that examine institutional functioning under adverse or disruptive conditions, including armed conflicts, humanitarian crises, democratic instability, environmental disasters, and systemic collapse. The journal seeks to highlight the ways in which governance mechanisms, institutional structures, and public or organizational policies are adapted to safeguard continuity, legitimacy, and collective well-being in such contexts.
By fostering dialogue across disciplines, SDGs Studies Review positions itself as a scientific platform for critical reflection and innovative approaches to the Sustainable Development Goals. It encourages investigations that combine theoretical rigor with practical relevance, ultimately contributing to knowledge production that informs both academic debate and evidence-based decision-making.
The journal accepts original articles, literature reviews, case studies, policy analyses, and short communications that contribute to the knowledge and advancement of the SDGs. Manuscripts should provide theoretical and empirical insights on how the SDGs can be effectively implemented across different sectors and regions.
